What is Conscious Breathwork?
This breathwork modality is a conscious breathing practice that invites you to release, reconnect, and remember who you are beneath the noise. It helps regulate the nervous system, move stuck energy, and bring clarity to the mind and peace to the body.
What happens in a session?
I, Olivia, will provide you with the information about the practice, while you enjoy a cup of heart-opening Peruvian cacao. I will go through the flow of what to expect during the session and what is expected of you. I will also invite you to ask questions. You’ll then be supported through a breathwork journey, guided by music, Reiki, and intuitive cues. Each session is held with care, presence, and deep respect for wherever you are in your process.
How long is a session?
The breathing itself is 40-60 minutes. The introduction at the beginning is typically 15-20 minutes. The ending can take a bit for you to integrate back to the present moment. I set aside a full two hours for a nice and easy flow.
What does Peruvian cacao do for you before Breathwork?
Peruvian cacao is a heart-opening plant medicine that gently supports the body and mind as you enter your breathwork journey. It contains theobromine, a natural stimulant that increases blood flow and enhances mental clarity without the jitteriness of caffeine. Cacao helps soften emotional barriers, making it easier to connect with your inner self. Before breathwork, it sets the tone—creating a grounded, expansive state that invites deeper presence, and connection. Many experience a sense of warmth, openness, and even joy.
Do I need to have done this before?
No experience is needed. Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, you are welcome. I’ll support you every step of the way and offer guidance as needed.
What’s different about group breathwork?
There’s something powerful about breathing in community. The shared energy often deepens the experience. When someone else lets go, it can give you permission to do the same. The group field can gently amplify the healing that wants to happen.
Can you take on someone else’s Energy?
Short answer is no. What happens within a community setting can be a mirror of energy deep within you.
What should I bring to a breathwork session?
To support your comfort and journey, please bring:
- An eye covering
- A blanket
- Water
- Lip balm
- A journal
- Any personal items you enjoy during meditation (crystals, essential oils, etc.)
Try not to eat a large meal 2–3 hours beforehand. A light snack is just fine.
I provide bolsters, pillows, yoga mats (limited to 10), blankets, and a few extra eye coverings if needed—so don’t worry if you forget something!
What should I wear to a breathwork session?
Come as comfortably as you want. Soft, loose layers are best—something you can relax and breathe deeply in. Temperatures may shift during the session, so cozy socks and a light sweater or wrap are always a good idea.
What if I feel emotional or overwhelmed?
All of you is welcome here. Tears, laughter, stillness, or shaking — it’s all part of the body remembering how to feel. You’ll be supported the entire time in a safe and compassionate space.
Is Reiki part of the breathwork?
Yes. Reiki is woven into every session to help support your energetic body and create a deeper sense of calm and release.
Can I book a session a private session?
Absolutely. Private sessions are available for individuals, pairs, or small groups. These are beautiful for deepening connection — with yourself or someone close to you.
Do you have animals in the space?
Yes — I share my space with two loving cats, Lillee and Lewis. If you have allergies, please let me know ahead of time so we can make the right arrangements for your comfort.
